WITHOUT MERCY – Burn

WITHOUT MERCY latest video, ‘Burn’, comes straight from their latest EP “Mouichido”, released last May 27th.

Guitarist DJ Temple commented on the track:

On the surface, ‘Burn’ shows a decent into hell. The imagery and content seems to follow the rhetoric of a burning and painful afterlife. In reality, ‘Burn’ is actually about the decent into madness. Your own personal hell while you battle your inner demons and face your own addictions. Listeners of this song can hear references to famous depictions of damnation from other literary worlds and even a very famous video game.

DEATH LULLABY – Renegade

DEATH LULLABY released their debut album last April, via Famine Records. They shot a video for the song ‘Renegade’, one of the eleven tracks from this release that features guest appearances from Fred Beaulieu (Beheading Of A King), Dan Mongrain (Voivod, Martyr) and Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy) whom also produced, mixed and mastered the album at The Grid.

SELFMACHINE re-sign with WormHoleDeath Records

Modern metallers SELFMACHINE recently signed a new licensing deal with WormHoleDeath Records and didn’t waste any time getting into RealSound Studio, in Parma, to start working on their sophomore album.

Here’s a statement from the band:

We are proud to announce that Selfmachine has re-signed with Wormholedeath Records to release our sophomore album.

Two years ago, when we signed to Wormholedeath to distribute our first album, all we expected them to do was get our record out into the world and maybe send a press release or two. However, what we got was a whole lot more.

Over the last two years, Wormholedeath has continuously supported Selfmachine in any way they could. We could always turn to them for advice and they would give it to us honestly and directly,… even if it that advice might not have been what we wanted to hear! We have also seen Wormholedeath grow and expand their business and the passion they put into their work.

In short, the last two years have been great, so when they came to us with the offer to work together on our next album, the decision wasn’t hard to make. Over the last couple of months we have already seen their invaluable input in fine-tuning the songs for Selfmachine’s next album. We are really excited to continue and expand our cooperation with Wormholedeath and we can’t wait to get into the studio to record this album. Y’all better brace yourselves,… this one is going to be a blast!!
