Portuguese progressive metal band SULLEN announced February 10th as the release date for their debut album “post human”! The album will be released in both physical and digital formats and you can pre-order it from the band’s website and Bandcamp.
“pos human” was produced by SULLEN and was mixed and mastered by their own guitarist Pedro Mendes at Ultrasound Studios (Braga).
Meanwhile, the band has premiered the track ‘Redondo Vocábulo’. The song is a tribute to the portuguese activist singer and composer Zeca Afonso. (listen to it here)
Coming from Portugal, SULLEN has its origins on 4/5 of OBLIQUE RAIN’s line-up, whose activity ended in 2012. The long-term friendship and musical partnership between César Teixeira, Marcelo Aires, Guilherme Lapa and André Ribeiro was not over and instantly the new project started to take shape. The search for something musically refreshing and equally dark eventually led to the start of something new and different than anything ever done by these musicians. From the start there was a clear intention, a collective focus and direction.
